One of the key elements of neural marketing research is emotion recognition. In computer vision, emotions are recognized by analyzing facial expressions that are considered informative and truthful because occur spontaneously and are hard to control. In fact, not only the presence but also the absence of emotional expression can be used to determine spontaneous reactions to an external stimulus.
In version 21.01 the emotion recognition functionality is finally available. Based on the analysis of shoppers’ facial expressions, it joins eye tracking as a tool for neuromarketing.
Emotion recognition is an optional component that can be activated during the project setup phase.
